  3. in building international applications.
  4. The Internationalisation Package
  5. is built by 4 controls that gather
  6. their formatting rules from the
  7. control panel.
  8.

  10.             The Date Control 
  11. ^^3^^The date control may have the
  12. AUTODATE style.
  13.  
  14. This style default automatically the
  15. control to today  date.
  16.  
  17. ^^4^^Pressing F2 you may invoke 
  18. a little calendar.
  19.  
  20. You may move in this calendar
  21. with the arrows  
  22. ^^5^^With Page-Up Page-Down  
  23. ^^6^^You may size it
  24.   
  25. ^^7^^And with a double click or a return select
  26. another day  
  27. ^^8^^The date control allow you to output data 
  28. in different formats.

  30. ^^9^^Here they are
  31.   
  32. ^^10^^Note that the names of the days
  33. and of the months are in the local
  34. language (according to the
  35. control panel setup)  
  36. ^^11^^Many languages are pre-defined.
  37.   
  38. ^^12^^The control is also SMART
  39. i.e. understand partial entries
  40. for example it understands M (in
  41. English) as this week Monday          
  42. ^^13^^or 12 as the 12th of this month
  43.   
  44. ^^14^^or S 12 (or 12 S if the date is in dd-mm 
  45. format) as the twelve of September.  
  46. ^^15^^It clearly refuses wrong dates 
  47. ^^16^^Now lets see the Time control
  48.   
  49. ^^17^^It is also formatted according to the control panel
  50. and can combine the styles :
  51. AUTOTIME, SECONDS, CLOCK 
  52. ^^18^^A standard  
  53. ^^19^^A control with the SECONDS style  
  54. ^^20^^An AUTOTIME Control  
  55. ^^21^^A CLOCK with SECONDS control 
  56. ^^22^^A CLOCK control                              
  57. ^^23^^There exists various function to 
  58. read  the values from the time
  59. control  
  60. ^^24^^As was possible to see the input is 
  61. formatted and does not permit invalid 
  62. times   
  63. ^^25^^The currency control is also formatted
  64. according to the currency definitions in the 
  65. control panel
  66.  
  67. ^^26^^As it is possible 
  68. to see the formatting is automatic.

  70. ^^27^^And pressing the - or the + key
  71. the control switch between positive and
  72. negative formats
  73.   
  74. ^^28^^A set of functions
  75. permit to retrieve 
  76. dollar and cents amounts  
  77. ^^29^^The last control is the numeric control  
  78. ^^30^^It allows positive and negative number
  79. with as many digits as required.       
  80. ^^31^^A set of functions allow to 
  81. retrieve the amounts  
  82. ^^32^^Furthermore it is possible to access all
  83. the control panel set -up
